Так себе. Вся суть упирается в то, что гг прожил миллионы жизней, он умеет делать все и знает очень много. Поэтому единственная сложность в его развитии это другие существа. Читать не интересно.
1/5The writing level of this novel can be surmised from the very first chapter. The author wrote a very good melancholy and poetic paragraph about how lonely at the peak and how desperate this lonely cultivation master in trying to breakthrough the universe....ONLYTo be downplayed the next paragraph immediately when he put a twist that reincarnated him into a caterpillar. The MC was so nonchalant that he didn't even react when he became a caterpillar, he didn't even react when a cheat [System] shows up.The author also never make MC struggle or write his life as a caterpillar. Most of the time you read, the impression is that he's just a normal human cultivators that fight with cultivation techniques. Not as a caterpillar trying to cultivate. You'll mostly see him as a caterpillar only during evolution. The title and the essence of the novel being a caterpillar is downplayed so heavily by the author.Heck, the novel should even be called Spoiler"My Journey to Sage Realm as Caterpillar" instead! The author introduce the [System] and bloodline rank, somehow introduced 10,000 rank needed to be reached in order to breakthrough the universe. ONLY to scrape it!Leads you through Spoiler170 chapters as not-so-caterpillar-y MC as he try to absorb bloodline for his evolution towards the 10,000 rank only to discard that body and system altogether, reconstruct a human body and become human againIntroduced the idea of cultivating 512 laws ONLY to scrape it! Heck what he needed was Spoilerto go to the center of the universe.Introduced a super annoying nemesis out of nowhere. ONLY to dump him without long awaited final battle. And the worst:SpoilerPut a CATERPILLAR as a Title ONLY to remove the system and let him be human again!!!! which he can do just by leaving his body as a soul and reconstruct it as any race you want! Then what's the point?!!!The author betrayed his own novel title, his own synopsis, his novel essence.1/5Can't get any higher.Just write him as a normal human badass cultivators from the start and then it's a solid 3.5/5.The title is there only to bait people to read.Read it and you'll be trolled so hard by the author.
4/5 starsI enjoy villainous protagonists but the main character of this novel goes beyond that, he is a monster through and through, and i can't say i like that.Usually an evil protagonist is both unscrupulous and ruthless, and will do anything as long as it furthers his own goals. However, there is a glimpse of humanity hidden within, something relatable about him: a reason for his twisted personality or a loved one in his past that he used to care about but is long gone. Perhaps, he was not always like this, but life turned him into a reflection of his surroundings, cold and unfeeling. In this novel, however, there's no such thing. The main protagonist is a true psychopath from beginning to end, there's no character growth. He has no loved ones, no fond memories, just the cold, ethereal goal of immortality. That's all he wants, and he will eat babies to achieve this and smack his lips while doing so. The amount of gore and gratuitous violence is off the charts, which is the reason why i stuck through it despite not liking the main character - simply out of morbid curiosity. How much worse can this situation get, how is the mc going to solve his problems, and when he does solve them, you see the solution is both ruthless and gory. Which is fun i suppose, though if the novel had 1000+ chapters i would definitely get bored of it. 240 chapters is just right, maybe it could have been shorter. Snack sized novel for those looking for gore and violence, as long as they don't mind a psychopath for an mc.
Hoooow???? You were complaining towards the end. How 4/5? Hoooow????
It fulfills its role quite well, it's shocking, gory, dark and cruel. If you feel like reading something that might disgust you, this is it. Much like how if you witness a train-wreck you can't help but take a closer look. This novel is morbid curiosity incarnate, hence the 4/5 score. It's a good novel because it fulfills a certain niche that is not very popular. My review may seem overly negative because i wanted the reader to know what he is getting into, this novel is not for everyone.
No, your review is not too negative but too highly praise. Lol. From chapter 140 onwards the novel got so bad that everything showing up is really half baked ideas thrown by the author.Spoiler mentioning the chapter title ONLY to remove the hard earned celestial caterpillar body. Adding an arc nemesis from nowhere, mentioned that the MC only afraid of him, becoming very annoying like he knows every plan of MC ONLY to be removed from the story at all without a climax. First mentioning the rank 10,000 bloodline for the key to breaking through the universe and then scrape that idea, introduce 512 laws cultivation for the key to breaking through and then scrape it again, finally he only need to journey to the center of the universe without any explanation if he knew that why he didn't do it during his previous life when he was at his peak. The biggest plot holes and weakest excuse nonsense from author, when he removed the system by abandoning the caterpillar body (thus making the novel title entirely pointless and half of the novel wasted just like that), the author implied that a higher power was watching him (Hades), making readers anticipate what kind of conflict on the higher level with buddha and hades. Turned out the ending was so bad that hades and buddha is just so chill guy, administrator of their own world. WTFThose half baked ideas from ch 140 onwards is so bad that I can't fathom you gave it high score 4/5 😂
I the great cultivator known as Yun Jhin with thousands of concubines and hundreds of official wives became a leaf-eating caterpillar?Pussy eater became leaf-eater
A TRULY evil MC who from beginning to end sets out to accomplish his goals by any means necessary. Utterly fantastic.
Hoooow "utterly fantastic"???You were also complaining towards the mind-blowing trolling by the author.Hoooow?
Its gold read it and you will love it.Its bloody, cold blooded and everything makes sense. Wonderful.

does he turn into a butterfly?? if you don't see it, it's not even worth reading
Boring 3/10
High-quality scoundrel, recommend*after 240*It's disappointing: the heavenly kingdom, galaxies, planets, sects, characters, etc. everything runs at the speed of a locomotive, forcing events, once he gets somewhere, he will immediately get drawn into the center of conflicts with higher players and quickly get out of it, the main character even doubted the shitiness of luck, that this is the influence of the system, which is undoubtedly a plus for the author, but still it spoils the work, all expectations in the toilet, everything seems so insignificant when when expectations collapse about reality. This is the effect of the size of the novel, the plot is as much compressed and glued as possible, there are not enough details of the world! It looks unnatural, there is no answer to many questions, I still do not understand the general structure, I have not seen the power of righteous sects, etc. Everything is very one-sided, only from the side of the main character, fortunately, there are no complaints about him, I would give the novel ~700 chapters that he would reveal himselfBut, even so, this is one of the best novels at the moment, 4/5 only because of the forced acceleration, and otherwise, this is a true pursuit of immortality!
