«Hello, sir. Are you cashing out or leveling up?»Dungeons Online was the first game that cracked the system. Let nerds earn by nerding, and they will nerd forever. And Dungeons Online did just that.Noobs turned into middle-class workers. Pro-players turned into celebrities and multi-millionaires.And there was Tom. Likely, the only top ranker that lived off the scraps and cat-food. A courtesy of his father that went and disappeared, leaving Tom with just enough money to survive until his graduation. Until the day where the option of cashing out would appear.Dungeons Online. A game where developers never shared a single bit of information. A game where the death of one’s avatar is permanent. A game that can turn a beggar into a lord just as quickly as turning a celebrity into nobody. But where does all this money comes from? How is it connected to the unnatural disaster that all governments across the world buried any information off? And how is this all connected to Tom’s missing father? Collapse

Nah not for meConfusing and no hype detectedThe story jumping around game and IRL I need my brain cell for another novel Skip
This novel feels like its missing the first 10 chapters or so. Even though i looked and its not the author just kinda starts the story as if there was things already explained. I can't read on unless there is a proper start to the novel
Not for me
TL;DR it's a good blend of mystery, adventure, and action. Reasonable comparisons: The Hero Returns, Supreme Magus, Nanomancer Reborn (snow girl).I've read till 120's, on pause just cause of my mood and plan to continue reading latter. The latter fighting scenes resembles Solo Leveling in a way that detailed and exciting ; by then, some of the mystery are resolved while some aren't. While not all of MC's mindset, deduction, and decision are without flaws, I have to take into accounts the uncommon backstory of MC. There's many branching path in which the author could viably took the story to. The mystery could give the suspense when the action could not, and vice versa. Can't tell much about adventure and isekai part coz they're intertwined with mystery in the early part.I hope the review has been helpful.P.S.: So here comes the spoiler till ch 120's.Spoiler The "online" part was meant to be misleading which drives the earlier mystery. MC's dad was/is a black op commander/captain and has trained the MC to replaced him in case he failed. MC was hypnotized (?) to believe his dad abandoned him instead of the dad and his team entering the dungeon personally w/o using the avatar. The enemy thus far is the government in cooperation w/ the biggest company there is. Further spoiler will be separated, different arc.SpoilerThe consequences of a person entering the dungeon personally is gaining the ability to use mana. The dungeon in question seems to be structured like a pyramid @first.Later it is confirmed to be like sand clock, on one side is the MC home world while the other side is world with knight and magic fantasy, elves and dwarves included. Which beg the question, is the Dad and his team alive in that world or they died in the dungeon. I paused reading a few chapters after MC arrived on the other side.
So. Did you continue reading?
yup, i did.... still good, pause a bit on 150 to read sss-class suicide hunter, continue again
Ima reading 'sss' now. Ill read this novel thx
I read the first 11 chapters which seems to be the prologue. I found the initial few chapters a bit confusing, and what passes for action/fighting to be bland/glossed over. On the whole its attempt of "starting in the middle" flopped. That said it shortly hit stride in story telling, prose, and set up the future developments. I can't speak for the whole story, but overall I've read much worse. If you liked novels like the Tutorial is Too Hard or Realworld+VR novels this seems to be in a similar vein. I'll give it a cautious recommendation of "won't kill you to try it out" for fans of these tropes.
The author said they're going to write a proper start/introduction soon. Until they do, I'd hold off on reading this one.
Please let me know if this is good. Seems like a trope that has been done before, but who knows? Perhaps this may be good.
I have read the first 3 chapters of the novel. There is neither an introduction nor a character introduction in the novel. I felt like starting the novel from the hundredth chapter. I do not know how it will turn out in the following episodes, but I give minus points for the first 3 episodes.
We are in need of pioneers
In terms of pioneers we have no pioneers
I hope my review and some spoilers may satisfy your curiosity.
